How to teach with the iDO - With iDO you just climb on the board and you will be able to sail away after a few seconds. iDO is specially suitable for a lesson one to one. The difference it makes is equivalent to trainer wheels on bicycles. Without them, people need to learn to balance on two wheels before they can ride a bicycle. With trainer wheels, they can ride instantly, and as they pick up speed, they naturally start to balance on two wheels as normal. With its angle limitation, everyone can windsurf instantly too, moving forward and maneuvering the board with natural feel and without fear of falling.

On which board can be used the iDO? - The iDO can be used with all the boards with standard mast track. It is recommended to use sail not bigger than 5 square meters and in case you use sail bigger than 3 square meters it is recommended to use board with special lateral insert. In this kind of board you can screw the iDO plate even with the lateral screws like showed in the iDO product guide. The beginner boards that has this kind of insert are Starboard, RRD and most of the BIC.
On which masts the iDO can be used? - The iDO can be used with SDM (Standard Diameter Mast) and both RDM (Reduced Diameter Mast). The iDO extension has the advantage that can be used with double push pin system.
What does the IDO do? - It eliminates the need to uphaul and the need to balance the sail for beginners.
What's happen if the sailor fall off from the board? - When the sailor fell off from the bard we can have two different situations that depends from the sail and board that you are using. In the first case the board capsize and to get on the board you just need to follow the steps like showed in the pictures below PHOTO 01 - In the second case the sail is not able to capsize the board this means that in few cases the board can go slowly away from the beginners. Obviously a beginners is never leaved alone and this means that the teacher should help him to stop the board. For one to one lesson it is cool to link the teacher board to the beginner board with a rope, in this case the beginner can follow
